Marguerette J. Warner's Obituary
Longtime resident Marguerette Warner passed away in Neosho, Missouri December 31, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Marguerette was born November 19, 1917 in North Miami, Oklahoma to her parents Glenn and Edith Brown Jackson.
Marguerette worked for the Ottawa County Health Department as Secretary for 23 dedicated years. She married the late Lee Warner July 31, 1937 in Columbus, Kansas. Marguerette was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and was known as a friend to many. She loved her family dearly. Marguerette was a long time member of Miami’s BPW.
Marguerette is survived by 1 Daughter: Marlene and husband Rod Dingess of Carl Junction, Missouri and 2 Sons: Larry and wife Nadine Warner of Pineville, Missouri and Bill and wife Mary Warner of Edmond, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Marguerette is preceded in death by her Husband: Lee Warner on August 6, 1978, 1 Sister: Nadine Corbus and 1 Brother: Bill Jackson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday January 4, 2010 at Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Jerry Seigel officiating. Interment will follow at GAR Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation after the funeral service Monday January 4, 2010.
