Margaret Sue Wynn's Obituary
Margaret Sue Wynn, resident of Afton since 2007 having come from Franklin KS, passed away at her home Friday, November 8, 2013. She was 74 years old. She was born August 19, 1939 to Fred McGhee and Mae (Chaney) Shope in Welch OK. She married Ted Vernon Wynn, Jr., he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, camp cook, substitute teacher, water clerk, assistant in a jewelry store, etc. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Afton OK.
Sue is preceded by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by one son; John Wynn and wife Annette of Seneca MO, one daughter; Melinda Schmeling and husband Gene of Afton OK, one brother; James Shope and wife Maxine of Neosho MO. Four grandchildren; Marcy Carlson and spouse Shannon; Max Schmeling and spouse Victoria; Ryan Wynn and Ashley Wynn and one great grandchild; Carter Schmeling.
A visitation will be held prior to services, Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 1 to 2 pm at the First Baptist Church, Welch OK. Services are following at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James Shope officiating. Interment is at the Rogers Cemetery west of Welch.
