Margaret Ann Teal's Obituary
Margaret Ann Teal of Chetopa, KS, 90, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Labette Health in Parsons, surrounded by her family. She was born January 11, 1925 to Leslie Lewis Wilson and Millicent L. (Simmons) Wilson. She was a graduate of Edna High School. She was married to Alfred Teal for many years. From their union came four beautiful children. He preceded her in death. Margaret had a heart for serving as she worked as a Nurse Aid and Homemaker for the Elderly for 11 years. She was an active member of the Community Bible Church in Chetopa. She loved her church family and was a known to many as a "Mighty Woman of Prayer". She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 great-grandson, Aiden; 1 great-granddaughter, Kayleigh; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. She is survived by 3 sons, Richard Teal of Bluejacket, Danny Teal and wife, Judy, of Chetopa, KS; Mike Teal and wife, Anita, of Afton; 1 daughter, Rev. Regina Collins and husband, Rev. Ervin Collins, of Conway, AR; 6 grandsons; 5 granddaughters; many great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 1 sister, Phyllis of Dearing; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Community Bible Church in Chetopa, KS. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Community Bible Church in Chetopa. Rev. Randy Frazier will officiate. Grandsons will serve as Casket Bearers, Robert, Matt, Tim, Andrew, and Adam Teal, and Jason Lyon. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Robert Burton and Rev. Ervin Collins. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Chetopa, KS.
