Lyndsey RaiAnn Rollins' Obituary
Lyndsey RaiAnn Rollins, a forty-six-year-old mother, loving special education teacher, and Wardog fan, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Lyndsey was born August 5, 1979, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Tom and Hope (Firestone) Gilmore. Ms. Rollins worked through school to attain her bachelor's degree and then her master's degree in administration. She worked as a severe and profound special education teacher at Wilson Elementary. Lyndsey’s biggest love was her son Blace; she never missed a ball game and was his biggest fan. Her second love was her students; they were always treated as one of her own, and she loved them dearly. Growing up, Lindsey was an athlete herself, playing softball up into college, then coaching some, too. When Lyndsey moved to Miami six years ago, she became a Wardog and would often be seen wearing her Wardog blue.
Those who will be sharing Lyndsey’s memory are her son Blace Rollins of the home, her parents Tom and Hope Gilmore of Collinsville, her sister Loren and husband Derek Williams of Norman, along with her niece Olivia Williams and nephew Levi Williams, as well as Lyndsey’s maternal grandmother Nonnie, Joyce Firestone of Velma. Also surviving are her extended family, friends, and co-workers, whom she loved.
Lyndsey’s Celebration of Life will be 2:00 PM, Friday, February 6, 2026, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, with Reverend Jarrod Kendall officiating.
