Luke McDugle's Obituary
Roy Luke McDugle, a resident of Commerce, OK, passed away early Monday morning, January the 19th, 2026, at Ascension St. John Hospital in Tulsa, surrounded by his family, after a long illness. He was 45 years old.
Luke was born August the 21st, 1980 in Miami, OK to Roy Franklin McDugle and Rebecca (McGoniagle) McDugle. He graduated from Commerce High School. On April the 7th, 2006, he married the love of his life, the former Amber Marshall, in a ceremony in Joplin, MO.
He worked in production at Hopkins until ill health no longer allowed him to work. He loved hunting, gardening, and caring for animals.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his best friend, Johnny Eddings.
He is survived by his wife, Amber, of the home; two daughters, McKenzie McDugle (Waylon Defrancisco) and Liberty McDugle, both of Commerce, OK; two step-sons, Zack and Lane Gaines of Wyandotte; three siblings, Rocky McDugle and wife Mary of Wyandotte, Sandea Clay and husband Pastor Jim of Cassville, MO, and Chandi Gallaway of Amarillo, TX; and four grandchildren with #5 on the way.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 26th, 2026, in the south Chapel of the First Christian Church in Miami. The family will receive friends beginning at noon, prior to the service. Pastor Donnie Williams will officiate, assisted by Josh Bear. Burial will follow at the Williams Timberhill Cemetery, west of Miami. Casket bearers will be Zack Gaines, Lane Gaines, Mo Cunliffe, Kevin Crane, Waylon DeFrancisco, and Tim Lewis.
