Lucille Lue Spring's Obituary
Lucille Lue Spring, 84, of Miami, OK, passed away at Freeman West in Joplin, MO on Tuesday, August the 1st, 2023, after a sudden illness.
She was born January the 8th, 1939 in Vinita, OK to Claude McDonald Henson and Dora Bell Jessie Irene (Villines) Henson. She was a high school graduate. On January the 21st, 1970, she married Charles Spring in a ceremony in Smithfield, TX. He preceded her in death on February the 16th, 2022.
Lucille was member of the Mound Valley Baptist Church where she was recently baptized. She loved her church family to the fullest. In her spare time, she loved crossword puzzles, sewing, canning fruits and vegetables, and putting puzzles together.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and two siblings, Jo Evelyn Davis and Argus Henson.
She is survived by seven children, Darriel, Dale, Sheila, Donny, Daniel, Douglas, and Deland; 33 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August the 5th, 2023, at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch.
