Lois Louise Moss' Obituary
Lois Louise Moss, 93, of Bluejacket, OK, passed away October 13th, 2023 at her home, after a period of declining health, while surrounded by her family.
She was born June 25, 1930 in Bluejacket to Roy Lee Spotts and Thelma (Ellis) Spotts. She was a graduate of Bluejacket High School.
She was a Nurse Aide at Eastern State Hospital in Vinita for 27 years. She was very talented in crafting using canvas. Every holiday had hand crafted canvas decorations to display.
She is preceded in death by two sons, Charles Richard Moss, Jr. and Jimmy Ray Moss; and two sisters, Beatrice Lee and Goldie Berry.
She is survived by four children, Shirley Vail (Robert) of Vinita, David Moss (Janet) of Miami, Tammy Walls (Charley) of Welch, and Sheila Cook (Gerald) of Muskogee; a brother, Leroy Spotts of Grove; 17 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Monday, October 16, at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch. Private family graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 17 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Pastor Leonard Stoner will officiate. Casket bearers will be grandsons Kelby Moss, David Moss, Bryant Vail, Coty Moss, Mikel Hutchinson, and John Leroy White.
