Lisa Raelyn Gilman's Obituary
Lisa Raelyn Gilman, 58, of Miami, OK, passed away February the 8th, 2026, at Mercy Joplin, surrounded by her family, after a sudden illness.
She was born in Welch, OK on November the 18th, 1967 to Linda Kemp, her proud mother. She was a graduate of Miami High School and she continued her education by taking some college courses.
On February the 13th, 1999, she married Jeffrey Gilman in a ceremony in Welch. They made their home in rural Miami. She loved crocheting, reading, cricket, spending time with her grandchildren, and her dog and cat. She was a member of the New Life Nazarene Church in Miami.
Her employment included the photo department at Wal-Mart, Integris Miami in Generations, and most recently as a para for Miami Public Schools
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joshua Easley; and her best friend, Ardie Blair.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey, of the home; five children, Donovan Gilman and wife Kristy of Welch, Eli Gilman and wife Brennae of Galena, KS, Cody Easley and wife Amanda of Welda, KS, Treg Easley of Parsons, KS, and Tabby Gilman of Webb City, MO; a sister, Shelly Domann and husband Travis of Pratt, KS; seven grandchildren, Kohen, Alyssa, Braiden, Wesley, Brianna, Olivia, Titus, and #8 on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 11th, 2026 at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February the 12th, 2026, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Rogers Cemetery, northwest of Welch.
Casket bearers will be Bill, River, and Paul Blair, Graham Stephens, Cruz Tucker, and Willie and Melvin Morgan. Honorary casket bearers will be Wayne Gilman and Bradford Stephens.
