Linda Kay Harris' Obituary
Linda Kay Harris, 74, of rural Miami, Okla., passed away Friday, January 27th, 2023, at Miami Nursing Center, after an illness.
She was born April 14th, 1948 in Joplin, Missouri to Ransom Charles Camp and Rosa Bell (Larimer) Camp. She was a 1966 graduate of Miami High School. She then took a few college classes in art.
She worked for Eagle Picher in both Seneca and Joplin for 25 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed drawing, reading, old cars, and working puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Joshua Easley; and a nephew, Kelly Gilman.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Gilman and her husband Jeff, of rural Miami; a sister, Leatta Gilman and her husband Willard, of rural Miami; five grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 29th, at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Rogers Cemetery, northwest of Welch.
