Lily Bleak's Obituary
Lily Bleak, 77, a longtime Miami resident passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Landmark Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born on October 2, 1939 in Miami to Jasper and Becky (Woolsworth) Lacy. She worked in housekeeping for nursing homes; being the youngest of thirteen she also enjoyed her family and her time as a housewife and mother. Mrs. Bleak is preceded in passing by her parents, two children Kathy Jo Biggs and John Owen Jr. and eleven brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her children, Jim Persons and his wife Carmen of Commerce, Danny Persons of Miami, Diana Linn of Sacramento, California, Bo Fry of Miami, Darline May Eslick and her husband Mike of Vinita, Joe Fry and his wife Brenda of Miami, Roger Fry and his wife Carole of Joplin, Connie Maxwell of Vinita, Cindy Wilson of Colorado Springs, Scott Blizzard of Foyil and Kristi Blizzard of Miami, a brother Ike Lacy and his wife Nancy of Miami, her many nieces and nephews, sixteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
Visitation is Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami from 6-7PM.
Services are 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Cooper Memorial Chapel at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Interment will be at Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery.
