Larry Eugene Waldron's Obituary
Larry Eugene Waldron, 71, of Fairland, Okla., passed away Saturday evening, June 30, 2018 at Windridge Nursing and Rehab in Miami after a long illness. He was born December 15, 1946 in Neodesha, Kans. to Donald Waldron and Beulah (Hasty) Waldron. He graduated from Neodesha High School in 1965.He worked 23 years for MEC in Neodesha before retiring. He also worked 15 years for the IDF Company. He loved the old Chevelle's, car shows, birds, gardening, and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved to fish so much that he once used a grandchild's pink Barbie fishing pole.He served for 6 years with the National Guard. On January 10, 1986, he took Helen Parks as his bride in a ceremony in Ash Grove, Missouri. He was a member of the Verdigris Valley Christian Church in Altoona, Kans.Larry is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lloyd Waldron; and a sister, Nancy Waldron Organ.He is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home in Fairland; his children, Deborah Collins, Donnie Waldron, Candi Westbrook, Brandi Cunningham, Shawna Reynolds, Kenneth Bagzis, LaDawn Bagzis, and Michael Bagzis; his step mother, Vi Waldron; 2 sisters, Rita Leveque and Janet Isbell; 2 step sisters, Rita Nolan and Gloria Ratliff; 22 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.A visitation will be held at the Thomas Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Welch on Monday, July 2, from 5-7 p.m. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3 at the Verdigris Valley Christian Church in Altoona, Kansas with Minister Jim Raymond officiating.
