Kimberly Kay Jinks' Obituary
Kimberly Kay Jinks, 40, of Vinita, OK, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her home. She was born July 11, 1972 to Larry Wade and Brenda Kay (Mason) Jinks. She was a graduate of Bluejacket High School, Class of 1990. Kimberly was talented in many areas of her life, including crafting, scrapbooking, and dancing. She was an avid homemaker and mother. Her life revolved around her children as well as her nieces and nephews, never missing their sporting events or any other activities that might come along. She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Betty Mason. She is survived by 1 son, Bryce Long of the home; 2 daughters, Lacey Powell of Claremore, and Brittany Powell of the home; her parents, Larry and Brenda Jinks of Vinita; 1 brother, Cheyne Jinks of Vinita; 1 sister, Brandy Cunningham of Vinita; grandparents, Eugene and Lois Jinks of Vinita; nieces and nephews, Dakotah, Lakelan, Tucker, Brenli, Katylin, and Clayton; and a host of friends. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church in Vinita. Wade Markham will officiate. Serving as Casketbearers will be John White, Brian Windle, Mark Chamberlain, Clint Kelly, Tracy Jinks, Jay Don Jinks, and Jake Walker. Interment will be at Walker Cemetery, West of Welch, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kim Jinks Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank of Vinita.
