Karen Sue Shea's Obituary
Karen Sue (Cox) Shea, a resident of Wyandotte, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Karen was born on December 30, 1956 in Welch, Oklahoma to Joe and Mary (Morris) Cox. Mrs. Shea went to Miami High School. She married Pat Shea in Miami in 1986. Karen worked for many years as a seamstress at Newell Coach. She enjoyed sewing and crafting, music and most of all her grandchildren. Her dad Joe Cox and a brother Leroy Cox preceded her in passing.
Survivors include her mother Mary Cox of Miami, her husband Pat Shea of the home, her daughter Mary Garrett and her husband Morgan of Wyandotte, her step children Kelly Shea, Bryan Shea and Tim Shea of Spokane, Washington, Brandy Shea and Jeremy Shea of Chehalis, Washington, her grandchildren Mylee and Mayvis Ferguson along with twelve step grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Brenda Beason and her husband Bill of Commerce, two nephews Joe Cox of Afton, Jon Cox of Miami, her neice Loreylee of Broken Arrow, along with several other family members and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 5-7PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Services are Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami with Reverend Phil Shyers officiating. Interment will follow at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
