Joseph Cremer Smith's Obituary
Joseph Cremer Smith, 75, of rural Miami, OK, passed away Thursday, March 3rd, 2016, in the Emergency Room of Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO after a sudden illness. He was 75. Joseph was born in Jefferson City, MO on March 20, 1940 to Charles Burdette Smith and Edith Marie (Cremer) Smith. He was a retired welder who now loved living on his farm northeast of Welch. He attended the Maybelle Baptist Church. Joseph is survived by his brother, Charles B. Smith of Jefferson City. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered on his farm. A memorial service honoring Joseph will be held at a later date. His pastor, Lindey Leforce, will officiate.
