Jonathan Ray Anderson's Obituary
Jonathan Ray Anderson, 45, a longtime resident of Miami, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Fenton, Missouri. Jonathan was born on April 17, 1979, in Miami to Dale Sr. and Brenda (Anderson) Lasiter. He graduated from Picher High School with the Class of 1997, then from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Jonathan worked mostly as a truck driver for SAIA Trucking. Jonathan married Gayla Stoner, and they have three children. He loved his family and would do anything for his children. He played golf when he was able and would play video games with the boys as they got older. If you knew Jonathan, you know you couldn’t tell if he was joking or serious. Mr. Anderson is preceded in passing by his father Dale Lasiter Sr. and his brother Brian Lasiter.
His family who will share memories of him are his mother Brenda Lasiter, his wife Gayla Anderson, his sons Matthew and Charles Anderson, daughter Ashton Anderson, and one brother Dale Lasiter Jr.
There will be a Celebration of Life 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at First Assembly of God in Miami with Reverend Micah Wells officiating. At a later date, the family will have a burial ceremony at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
