John R. Ratley's Obituary
John R. Ratley, 80, of Miami, OK, passed away at the Miami Nursing Center late Monday evening, November 27, 2017, with his sister at his side. John was born December 22, 1936 in Bakersfield, CA to Jack Ratley and Juarita (Groce) Ratley. John worked alongside his father on the family farm for many years. Despite challenges from birth, John was a loving and caring person who enjoyed his family to the fullest. He loved to tease people and he would spend hours painting pictures to give to family and friends. He was a member of the McNatt Baptist Church in Stella, MO. He is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Nita and Linda Ratley; brother in law, Harold Watson; and 1 nephew. He is survived by his sister, Laura Watson of Miami; and 6 nephews and nieces.
