John "Johnny" M. Davis' Obituary
John “Johnny” M. Davis, 76 years old, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Oklahoma City at Integris Baptist Hospital. John was born December 27, 1941 in Springfield, Missouri to Claud & Nina (Ritter) Davis. He later married Sandy Crafton on June 21, 1963 at the Fairland First United Methodist Church. He worked at Goodrich for 19 years, Davis Engraving and owned Davis Upholstery shop, worked for ten years at NEO A&M College when he retired, then worked at Fairland Public Schools. He was a big OU and Roy Rogers fan, he was also an artist. John was preceded in death by his parents Claud and Nina, brothers Tom Creviston and Glenn Davis.
He is survived by his wife Sandy Davis of the home; daughters Penny Childers and her husband Don of Bluejacket, Johnna Elliott and her husband Larry of Fairland, Alexsandra Miller and her husband Devon of Oklahoma City; sister Gloria Eagleburger of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, brother Claud Davis and his wife Jacque of Paola, Kansas . Grandchildren Deric Douthit and his wife Jill, Devin Douthit and his wife Mariah, Alexsandra Miller and her husband Devon, Haleigh Mitchell and her husband Tristan, Emileigh Elliott, Step grandchildren Jennifer McClendon, Shekinah Childers, along with his great grandchildren Dylan Douthit, Jentry Douthit, Dani Jo Douthit, Sullivan Aubrey Miller and five other step great grandchildren and his “little sister” Pam Wyrick.
Celebration of Life will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday February 24, 2018 at the First Christian Church in Fairland Oklahoma. Services are under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association at https://www.lbda.org/.
