John David Doty's Obituary
John David Doty, 85, a longtime Miami, Oklahoma resident passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. John was born in Miami on January 23, 1940, to Otto and Willa (Dry) Doty. John graduated from Miami High School and worked as the director of HUD housing in Ottawa County. John was an avid golfer. After retirement he would spend as much time as he could on the golf course. He was a real estate investor in the Miami area and had success doing so. John loved his wife Wynonna very much. Together they spent over thirty wonderful years together. Mr. Doty is preceded in passing by his parents Otto and Willa Doty, wife, Wynona Doty, and daughter, Christy Dearing.
Those who will share Mr. Doty's memory are his son Mike Dareing; Daughter Mendy Pliler, sister, Barbara Allard, grandchildren Dustin Garman, Michael Dareing, and Megan Dareing, along with his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
