John Dale Burke's Obituary
John Dale Burke, 67, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. John was born on March 13, 1958, to James F. and Caroline J. (Kreigh) Burke in Chanute, Kansas. John was a mechanic by trade. He worked at B&S Auto for years, then at MAC Tools, Green Country Auto, and taught mechanics at Vatterott College. John was preceded in passing by his parents, James and Caroline Burke, and a daughter, Samantha "Sammy" Rnee McMillian.
Survivors include his wife Terra Burke of the home, his son Austin Burke and his wife Jamie of Walnut, Kansas, his daughter Sierra Kirkpatrick and her husband Craig of Walnut, Kansas, and son Joshua Burke of Anchorage, Alaska, his grandchildren Megan McMillian, Katylyn Burke, Autumn Burke, Maya Burke Jackson Burke, Zakary Kirkpatrick, Makenna Kirkpatrick, Olivia Burke, Lillian Burke, Madeline Burke, Jocelyn Burke, and Flynn Burke, his great grandchildren, Sammy McMillian and Dean Littlejohn, his brother Jeff Burke and his wife BJ of Chanute, Kansas, his sister Jolene Karol of Covington, Tennessee and his brother Jimmie Burke and his girlfriend Claudia Taylor of Chanute, Kansas, along with his nieces and nephews, Holly Burke, Charles "Chuck" Allen and his wife Nichelle Simon, Michael "Mickey" Allen, and Katrina Allen.
Mr. Burke's Family will have a private family memorial at a later time. Cremation services been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
