Joe Leland Tullis' Obituary
Joe Leland Tullis, 90, of rural Welch, OK, passed away at his home Wednesday morning, March the 26th, 2025, after a long illness.
He was born May the 30th, 1934, in Welch to Joseph Tullis and Mildred (Anderson) Tullis.
On August the 30th, 1959, he married the former Mary Emmaline Garrett. He served his country in the United States Army, and upon discharge, joined the Army National Guard. He worked in the fiberglass field for 35 years in Kansas City, KS. He attended the Family Praise Center in Vinita for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two sons, Ronnie and Robert; a granddaughter, Sara Tullis; and a brother, Kenneth Wayne Tullis.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori Cox; a brother, Ernie Tullis and wife Bonnie; three grandchildren, Travis, Jason, and Ashley Cox; and three great grandchildren. Harper, Gunner, and Zoey.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
