Joann Callis Todd's Obituary
Joann Callis Todd passed away September 24, 2010. Joann was born in the Delaware Community between Jay and Grove, Oklahoma September 30, 1941 to Cloe Callis and Hazel Bethel Cassis. She attended grade school at Delaware and Jay High School graduating in 1959. She attended Gradwalh University in St. Louis obtaining her Medical Technology degree. After thirty eight years of working in the lab at various hospitals she returned to school and obtained her RN degree.
Joann married Charles A. Todd in 1965. Survivor of the home is her husband Chuck Todd, Sister Charlotte Layman of Grove, Ok, Brother, Rusty Callis of Peace Valley, Mo, 3 Nephews, Randy Callis, Ronnie Callis of Diamond, Mo, Michael Layman of Grove, OK, 7 Great Nephews and 2 Great Nieces, 2 Great Great Nieces.
Preceded in death by her parents, Cloe and Hazel sister, Sharon Kay Wade and 1 nephew James “Jimmy” Layman.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 5-6 PM
at Cooper-Althosue Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM at Ottawa Indian Cemetery Monday September 27, 2010 with Chaplain John McPhail officiating.
The family has chosen Robert Simons with Cooper-Althouse Funeral Home with their service.
