Jim D Hayes' Obituary
Jim D. Hayes, 85, a resident of Fairland, Oklahoma, passed away at his residence on Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was born in Miami, Oklahoma on December 16, 1937, to Floyd and Juanita C. (Boyd) Hayes. Jim loved his horses and working cows. When he was able, would often be found rodeoing. Mr. Hayes was a long-time member of Lone Start Baptist Church where he was very active and had served as a Deacon. Jim is preceded in passing by his parents, Floyd and Juanita C. Hayes and a sister Anita Sue Hayes.
Those left to share the memory of Jim are his sisters, Patsy Clocker and her husband Darrell of Broken Arrow, Ruth Ann Tyler and her husband Ray of Grove, his brother Jack Hayes and his wife Kathy of Miami along with seven nephews, one niece and his many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
Services will be 10:00 AM, Monday, March 13, 2023 at Lonestar Baptist Church with Reverend Brian Gibson and Reverend Jason Gibson officiating. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Lonestar Baptist Church in Lieu of Flowers.
