Jessica Smith-White's Obituary
With a big Woo Hoo! Jessica Anne White graduated from this life and ran into the arms of Jesus on May 25th, 2022. One of the best qualities about Jessica was her enthusiasm over the small delights of life. A special flower, food or song was a good reason to celebrate. We know she definitely is celebrating Heaven!
Jessica was born May 19, 1975 in Monett, Missouri, and spent her first few years there. From 6th grade through her sophomore year, Jessica attended Miami, Oklahoma schools, making many good friends and memories. She then attended and graduated from Vinita High School, Vinita, Oklahoma. Following High School, Jessica attended NEO A&M College, graduating with an Associates Degree in Psychology.
The predominant theme through Jessica’s life was music and her love for the Lord. Through all of life’s ups and downs, no matter the circumstances, she knew who her savior was. Her High School years were filled with mission trips, serving in various states and Mexico. As a young woman, Jessica travelled with a Christian Performance troupe throughout the United States. Jessica not only enjoyed music but was also a prolific songwriter and singer.
Her greatest accomplishment and delight were her two girls, Faith and Hope, from her marriage with Philip Smith. They truly meant everything to her and were first in her heart. Jessica is survived by her two daughters, Faith and Hope Smith of Webb City, Missouri.
Jessica is also survived by her beloved husband Adam White. Though they were married only a short time, they shared a tremendous common bond and love.
Additional survivors are her mother, Gale Lee and husband Doug Lee of Miami, Oklahoma, her Step-Father, Russell Ogle of Nevada, Missouri and her sister Jennifer Wormington of Monett, Missouri. Additional survivors are her cousins, aunts and uncles.
Jessica was preceded in death by her father, Joe Robert Butterworth of Monett, Grandparents, Betty and Clyde Wendler of Monett, Mary and Robert Butterworth of Monett and her special Aunt Ann George of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
If you would like to honor Jessica with flowers, please pick some from your garden or the roadside. Wildflowers were her very favorite! Donations can be made to Christian Faith Outreach, New Life Church for their Substance Program or 120 Remnant Ministries.
Celebration of Life is Saturday, June 11th, 2022 10:00 A.M in the Riverview Park, Miami, Oklahoma. We would love to have friends and families share memories at the service. Please bring your own chairs, as there will be limited seating.
