Jerry Lee Turner's Obituary
Jerry Lee Turner, 78, a resident of Commerce, Oklahoma passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, in Joplin, Missouri. Jerry was born on October 29, 1945, in Miami, Oklahoma to Lester and Virginia (Revels) Hill. Jerry attended school in Commerce, Oklahoma. Jerry was a very hard worker. She worked for Petit Broom Factory and for Welch Locker. When she wasn’t working, Jerry enjoyed sewing, decorating cakes, dancing, crafting, and reading. Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren, and extended family. Ms. Turner is preceded in passing by her parents, Lester and Virginia Hill, and her sister, Sharon Hill.
Those left to share the beautiful memory of Ms. Turner include her son, Curtis Turner and his wife Theresa, daughter, Tina Wilson, son Perry Turner, and brother Weldon Hill. Her grandchildren include Ian Turner, Ryan Turner, Terence Turner, Patrick Turner, Brandy Williams and her husband Steve, William Turner, and Cody Turner. Great Grandchildren include Mason Williams, Finley Williams, Easton Williams, Benjamin Turner, Madilynn Turner, Liam Turner, Kynleigh Turner, and Lyric Turner. She was also a loving aunt to Tony Ash, great aunt to Jenny Jacobberger and her husband BJ, Raven Ash, and Dakota Ash, and great great aunt to Madden Jacobberger and William Jacobberger.
There will be a private family service at a later date. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma.
