Jerri Raydene Cooksey's Obituary
Jerri Raydene Cooksey, 53, of Welch, Okla., passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Freeman Health System in Joplin, Missouri, after an extended illness.
She was born November 16, 1966 in Welch to Jerry Brown and Wilma (Doan) Brown. She was a high school graduate and worked a number of years in the motel industry as a housekeeper.
On February 8, 1991, she married Dariel Cooksey in a ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a member of the Community Bible Church in Chetopa, Kansas. She loved collecting carousels, motorcycle rides with Dariel, and her dogs.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Donna Fletcher.
She is survived by her husband, Dariel, of the home in Welch; a brother, Matt Brown of Welch; a step-daugher, Myra Taylor of Armona, Calif.; 2 step-grandchildren, Riley and Daniel; 2 aunts, Rita McGuirk and Rosetta Doan; 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 2 great nieces, and 2 great nephews.
