Jerome Larry Angelo's Obituary
Jerome Larry Angelo, 69, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home. Mr. Angelo was born October 10, 1948 in Illinois to Harry and Mary Ann (King) Angelo. In his youth he really enjoyed playing football and was known for that. He was a real people person who loved to help people and help his tribe’s people. He was a proud member of the Ottawa Tribe, at one time he was a Chief and Second Chief. For thirty-five years he was the Deputy Director of the Social Security Disability for the State of Oklahoma. Mr. Angelo was preceded in passing by his parents Harry and Mary Ann Angelo, a daughter Robin Michelle Angelo and two brothers Alvin Angelo and Gary Angelo.
Survivors include his wife Loretta “Lollie” (Bandy) Angelo of the home, his children Kerri Kai, Glen Zordel, Eric Zordel, Bob James Zordel, Michael S. Zordel and Bailey Ryan Angelo, his brothers Lucian Angelo and Gene Angelo and his grandson Geoffery Zordel.
Visitation is from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. Interment will follow at Ottawa Indian Cemetery.
