James A. Golden's Obituary
James A. Golden, 63, Bluejacket, OK passed away April 5, 2016 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, after a sudden illness. He was born May 27, 1952 in Joplin, MO to Edward Leroy Golden and Donna (Gillmore) Golden. He was a mechanic. He loved to fish, hunt, and make jerky. He dearly loved his family and greatly enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his father, one brother, and one granddaughter, Destiny. He is survived by his loving wife, Daisy Daraline Golden, of the home; his children, James Golden, Jr. of Bluejacket, Larry Golden of Bluejacket, Monica Shinn of Bluejacket, Dara Golden of the home, Bobby Shinn of Afton, and Laura Shinn of Bluejacket; his mother, Donna (Gillmore) Allison of Missouri; 15 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny Stand of Cimarron, KS; and one sister, Jolene Wright of Miami. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Assembly of God Church in Bluejacket. Interment will follow at Bluejacket Cemetery.
