Jackie Clinton Dodson's Obituary
Jackie Clinton Dodson, 85, a highly respected rancher of Welch, Okla., passed away at his home on Saturday evening, February 11, 2017, after a sudden illness. He was born July 23, 1931 in Boatman, Okla. to Everet Dodson and Hazel (Walton) Dodson. Jackie was married to the love of his life, Kaylynn Patterson. They loved their ranching lifestyle and country living. They enjoyed their family to the fullest, especially their grandchildren and keeping up with their activities. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Janet Sterling; and one brother, Johnny "Tooter" Dodson. He is survived by his loving wife, Kaylynn, of the home; 2 sons, Justin Dodson and wife Kim of Welch, and Clint Dodson, also of Welch; one daughter, Jackie Ann Frymire and husband Pete of McCrory, Ark.; 2 brothers, Everet (Slim) Dodson and wife Judy of Salina, Okla., and Steve Dodson and wife Debbie, also of Salina; 3 sisters, Maxine Scoggins of Claremore, Okla., LaFonda Dodson of Wichita, Kans., and Vickie Dodson of Pryor, Okla.; 6 grandchildren, Petie Ann Rudick, Tylor Dodson, Tra Dodson, Jason Frymire, Brian Graves, and James A. Sterling; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Jackie will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in Boatman. Private family services will be held. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, to please make a donation to the church of your choice in Jackie's memory.
