Helen Lucile Ward's Obituary
Helen Lucile Ward, 87, formerly of Welch, OK, passed away September 6, 2016 at Higher Call Nursing Center, Quapaw. She was born June 9, 1929 in Craig County, OK to Blaine and Thresa (Baunhofer) Wolfe. She was a graduate of Welch High School, class of 1947. On May 19, 1950, Helen married Joe H. Ward in Vinita. The couple made their home in Welch where they owned and operated Joe Ward Car Sales. Joe preceded her in death on July 19, 2009. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; and 1 sister. She is survived by 1 daughter, Patti Jo Rhodes and husband, Don, of Welch; and 1 granddaughter, Dana Rhodes of Tulsa. Helen can be viewed at the funeral home from 8-5 thurs. No services will be held.
