Gloria Gail Taylor's Obituary
Former longtime Bluejacket resident, Gloria Gail Taylor, 83, now of Miami, OK, passed away June 29, 2014 at Windridge Nursing and Rehab Center in Miami, surrounded by her family. She was born July 8, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Francis John and Hazel (Stebbins) Frey. She married Gaura Taylor on April 16, 1962. He preceded her in death in the year 2000, after an illness. Gail was talented in many activities including crocheting, and arts and crafts. She enjoyed reading a good book, playing bingo with friends, and working cross-word puzzles. She was an active member of the D.A.R. and the Easter Star of Vinita. She was preceded in death by three children, Vickie Ayres, Andrew Ayres, and Rita Hayworth, as well as her parents, and 1 brother. She is survived by 1 son, Todd Taylor and wife Rhonda, of Vinita; and 1 daughter, Jeanie Horton and husband Russell, of Bluejacket; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Carol Ann Orr; many other loving relatives; and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Bluejacket, OK. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, Bluejacket. Rev. Gordon Hatcher will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Chism and Ransen Horton, Willie and Melvin Morgan, Paul Bobby, and Denver Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Don and Richard Ayres, and Stoney Humble. Interment at Bluejacket Cemetery, Bluejacket, OK.
