Glenda Sue Stevens' Obituary
Glenda Sue Stevens, 73, of Welch, OK, passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday evening, April the 27th, 2025, after a long illness.
She was born July the 30th, 1951 in Grubbs, Arkansas to her parents, Charlie Bill Willbanks and Ruby Alberta (Wiliford) Willbanks.
She was a high schools graduate. She worked for several years as the Director of Transportation for a casino in Florida. She also worked as a caregiver in the home health field. On July the 7th, 2007, she married Ralph Stevens in a ceremony in Siloam Springs, AR.
She loved flea marketing, playing bingo, going to casinos, and spending time with her family. Her life revolved around her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also a foster parent to many children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Christy, OK.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four siblings; a step-son, Robert Clinkscales; and her step-mother, Bernice Willbanks.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph, of the home; four children, Melissa Duede of Welch, Meagen Joyner and husband Rick of Harvest, AL, Justin Clinkscales of Granby, MO, and Douglas Stevens of Welch; nine grandchildren, Hunter Duede, Dalton Duede and wife Jayla, Justus Vega, Lee Shrum, Robert Clinkscales and wife Lauren, and Bella, Damien, Camilla, and Jackson Joyner; great grandchildren Oaklynn Duede, Charlie and Liam Clinkscales, Ely Billingsley, and D'Anna Swindle and husband Kole; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May the 17th, 2025, at the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, officiated by Justin Nading.
