Genevieve Hood's Obituary
Margaret Genevieve Hood, 84, of Miami, OK, passed away Saturday, February 7th, 2015 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, after a short illness. Genevieve was a longtime rural Welch, OK resident, moving to Miami two years ago from the family farm northwest of Welch. She was a homemaker and was known for her cooking. She was also a caretaker for several elderly women. She loved to crochet and visit with her friends. She was a longtime member of the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Welch. Genevieve was married to J.D. Hood for many years. He preceded her in death on January 29th, 1989. She is also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, and grandparents. She is survived by one son, John Hood, of rural Welch. At her request, no services will be held.
