Frank Bond's Obituary
Frank Bond, 73, of Miami, passed away at home August 24, 2014 after a long illness. Born April 16, 1941 to Loyd and Opal (Gipson) Bond, raised in Commerce and married Susie Campbell, June 23, 1959, in Miami, where he resided till his passing. Frank was a self taught plumber for 35 years. He took great pride in his work, loved his family, gardening, spending time at his lake house, and his beloved dog, Jason. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Lloyd and John Bond, 2 infant brothers, and sister Maxine Bonbrake. Survived by wife Susie; daughters, Christina Bond, Sarah Morgan (Mike); granddaughters, Jamie Estep (Jason), Ashley Lawson, and Jessica Baker; grandson, Jordan Battenfield; great-grandchildren, Dianna, Jason II, Moses, Isabelle, Braiden and Carter; sister, Ina Kittrell; and brother, Lex Bond (Sharon). A special thank you to Good Shepherd Hospice for always being there when we needed them. The family will receive friends from 5-7p.m Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Commerce. Interment at G.A.R. Cemetery, Miami. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
