Felipe "Phil" Cantu's Obituary
Felipe “Phil” Cantu, 72, a resident of Miami, Oklahoma passed away at his residence on Friday, May 12, 2023. Felipe was born on August 23, 1950, in Texas to Jose and Graciela (Morales) Cantu. After High School, Phil served his country in the Army during the Vietnam Conflict, and then later the Marines. He chose to make the military a career. He would retire in 1989 as a Marine. Upon retirement Phil loved to spend his time working on and riding motorcycles. He was proud of his 1950 Harley Davidson Pan Head, and his 2001 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Phil is preceded in passing by his parents, Jose and Graciela Cantu, his sister, and his nephew, David Samuel Cantu, a fellow Marine.
Those left to share the memory of Phil are his wife Amber Cantu, daughter, Jelyza Graciela Willow Elyse Cantu, and his brother George Cantu.
Phil will have a visitation from 5-7 PM, Friday, May 26, 2023, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami. There will be military honors to start the visitation at 5:00 PM.
