Faye Pauline Johnson's Obituary
Pauline Johnson, lifelong resident of Afton Ok., passed away Wednesday, October the 17th, 2012 at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita, OK. She was 91 years old. She was born on September the 2nd, 1921 in Ottawa Co. to Green and Emma (Hall) Moore. She married Leonard Johnson on December the 22nd,1941 he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a homemaker in her own home. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star having served as Worthy Matron. She was a member of the First Baptist Church at Afton, OK. Pauline is survived by two sons; Leroy Johnson and spouse Connie; and Wayne Johnson and spouse Elsa all of Afton, OK. Three grandsons; Scott Johnson and spouse Kim, Justin Johnson and spouse April and Eric Johnson; one granddaughter; Amy Ford and spouse Lee and one niece; Freda Jones. Also 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one grandson: Wade Johnson, two brothers; Payton Moore and Burton Moore; three sisters; Lulu Moore, Lucretia Turner and Nola Taylor. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Fri. October 19th, 2012 at the Adcock Funeral Home Chapel in Afton. Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Sat. October 20th, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Afton, OK., with Rev. Leroy Orr, Rev. Jack Jones and Rev. Tom Mosher officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Johnson, Justin Johnson, Amy Ford, Eric Johnson, Dillon Johnson, Austin Johnson, Ashlen Slusher, and Tuff Johnson. Interment will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Afton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the building fund at the First Baptist Church in Afton. Services are under the direction of Adcock Funeral Home in Afton, OK.
