F. Dale Seamon's Obituary
F. Dale Seamon, 76, a longtime Miami resident passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at St. John's Hospital in Tulsa. Dale was born on December 11, 1942 in Miami to William F. and Thelma L. (Jarnigan) Seamon. He graduated with the Class of 1960 from Miami High School then attained his Associates from NEO A&M College. Dale worked at B.F. Goodrich until its closing then went to work at Eagle Picher as a Foreman. During the Vietnam Era Mr. Seamon was proud to serve in the United State Air Force where he attained the rank of Sergeant. He also earned the following medals, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, USAF Commendation Medal, and Presidential Unit Citation with Oak Leaf, USAF Commendation Ribbon and Medal. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and Elks Lodge. His parents William and Thelma preceded him in passing along with a brother and a sister. Then on October 6, 2001 his wife Sharon (White) Seamon also preceded him in passing.
Survivors include his daughter Shari Seamon of Miami, a granddaughter Dalaney Seamon and Grandson Shaun Innocenti and his wife Taylor, two great grandchildren Bryson Innocenti and Malachi Innocenti, and two nieces and a nephew.
Visitation is 6-7:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
Graveside Services are 10:00 AM Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Glen-Abbey Memorial Gardens in Miami with Reverend Geoff Buffalo officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the American Legions Funeral Honors Team. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
