Elmer Dean Fry's Obituary
Elmer “Bo” Dean Fry Jr., 63, a resident of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Oklahoma, on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Elmer was born on July 17, 1961, in Miami, Oklahoma, to Elmer Dean Fry Sr. and Lillie May (Lacy) Bleak. Elmer wore many hats, but the jobs he loved most was driving a semi-truck and working on the railroad. His hobbies included riding motorcycles, driving hot rods, watching westerns, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Elmer is preceded in passing by his parents, Elmer Dean Fry Sr. and Lillie May (Lacy) Bleak, siblings Jimi Persons, Delores Diana Persons, Connie Blizzard, Kathy Jo Blizzard, John “Jo” Owen Blizzard, and grandson Jeremiah Allen Truster.
Elmer is survived by his children, William Elmer Dean Fry, Robert Haskins, Pamela Dean Fry, and Amy Dean Fry. Siblings include Willie Jay Daniels Persons, Darline May Eslick, Francise Joe Fry, Roger Wayne Fry, Cindy Blizzard, Scott Alan Blizzard, and Kristy Olene Blizzard. Grandchildren include Emily Selle True Wilson, Adelle Lou Redden, Arecca Kae Redden, Nevaeh Lynn Fry, Brynleigh Rose Fry, and Willow Grace Barnes.
Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
There will be a celebration of life service for Mr. Fry at United in Christ Church in Quapaw, Oklahoma, on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
