Edna Mae Mount's Obituary
Former Welch, Oklahoma resident, Edna Mae Mount, 89, passed away January 20, 2014 at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in Miami, OK. She was born October 28, 1924 to Isom and Augusta Mason Sheffield at Hollow, Oklahoma, (West of Welch). She was a member of Clear Creek Grange and Welch Baptist Church. She lived all her life in the Welch area with the exception of the last year and nine months which were resided at Heartland Plaza in Miami. She married Norman Robert Mount May 10, 1941 at Oswego, KS. He preceded her in death September 17, 1990. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and 2 brothers. She is survived by two nieces, Rose Alice Teague of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Helen Mount of Welch; two great nephews, Rodney Addington of Justis, Texas and Brad Mount of Welch; great-great nephew, Jacob Mount; and a great-great niece, Hannah Mount, both of Welch. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Welch. Burial will be held at the Walker Cemetery, West of Welch.
