Edith Louise Benbrook's Obituary
Edith Louise “Jean” (Bond) Benbrook, 87, a longtime Miami Resident passed away in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on Thursday, June 27, 2013. Jean was born on June 16, 1926 in Dewey, Oklahoma to Wilburn and Edith Bond. She married her husband Jack N. Benbrook in Columbus, Kansas on August 28, 1944. He preceded her in passing on August 4, 2009. Mrs. Benbrook was a homemaker who enjoyed putting puzzles together but lived to take care of her family. Jean was also preceded in passing by her son Larry Benbrook, three brothers Wesley, Clint, and Dalton along with four sisters Maxine, Bethel, Ethel and Lucille.
Survivors include her son Duane Benbrook of Bartlesville, her four grandchildren, Brian Benbrook, Sean Benbrook, Tony Benbrook and Amy Benbrook, other survivors include her three great grandchildren Taylor Benbrook, Tanner Benbrook and Tucker Benbrook along with her nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
Graveside Services will be10:00 AM on Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery with Reverend Rick Longcrier officiating. Services are under the care of the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Miami.
