Earl Dean Rogers' Obituary
Earl Dean Rogers, 61, of Welch, OK, lost his battle with Leukemia on May 9, 2013 at his home, with his family by his side. Earl was one of kind man; Proud Dad and PaPa. He was a collector of classic cars, that he won many trophies for. He worked for Commerce Schools for 40 years. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Rogers of the home. He is also survived by his kids and grandkids, Jason, Amy, Logan, and Lauren Rogers of Berryhill, OK, Tee Jay, Tiffany, and Simmone Rogers of Welch, OK, Jean Ann, Greg, Myka, and Caiden Blalock of Miami, OK; two brothers and step sister, Mike Rogers, California, Dennis Rogers, Commerce, OK and Ellen Rogers of Springfield, MO. He is preceded in death by his dad and mom, Ray E. and Beula Rogers, and one brother, Marvin Rogers. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch, OK. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch, OK. Pastor Larry Perry, longtime friend, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kenny Leggett, Bobby Arms, Denzel Arms, Melvin Morgan, VO Morgan, and Jim Cossairt. Honorary pallbearer will be Andy Arms. Interment at Williams Timberhill Cemetery, East of Welch, OK.
