Doval Dean Orcutt's Obituary
Doval Dean Orcutt, 88, a lifelong Miami resident passed away at his home on Sunday, July 17, 2023. There will be a Celebration of Life at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chapel in Miami.
Mr. Orcutt was born in Miami on February 18, 1935, to Ross and Daisy (Buckmaster) Orcutt. Doval began his career building houses at the age of 16. He had recently been by the first house he had built to find it still standing and square. Doval enjoyed anything outside. He spent many hours hunting and fishing and spending time in the mountains. Doval loved to travel and would share that love with his grandsons. He took them on trips with him. Doval had a strong Christian faith. He attended the First Assembly of God in Miami for years; it was an easy walk through his back yard. Mr. Orcutt was preceded in passing by his parents Ross and Daisy Orcutt and his brother Jerry Orcutt.
Those who will share Doval’s memories are his daughter Star Waclawski and her husband Robert of Bella Vista, Arkansas, his three grandchildren Rachel Neukam, Shane Mercer and Ryan Mercer and his wife Lindsay along with ten great grandchildren.
Friends and family may send the family notes of encouragement by viewing Mr. Orcutt's Tribute Page at www.brown-winters.com.
