Donna Lynn Francis' Obituary
Donna Lynn (Stovall) Francis, 62, a resident of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, on Monday, July 13, 2026. Donna was born in Claremore, Oklahoma, on May 17, 1964, to Roy and Geraldine (Bearskin) Stovall. Donna graduated from Wyandotte High School with the class of 1982. She would marry Kelsie Francis and together they would spend many years together creating a beautiful family.
Donna worked at the Seneca Cayuga Cigarette Factory for many years until transitioning to Thermo Fisher where she worked until her passing. When Donna was not working, she spent time with friends and family. Donna was a Faith Keeper for the Seneca Cayuga Nation for many decades, she named babies, prayed, sang, cooked, danced, and continued on her ceremonial traditions. Donna made many baskets and was a beloved shell shaker, attending other ceremonial grounds every chance she got. Donna loved to take pictures, helping raise many babies and having a large family, she wanted to keep as many memories documented as possible.
Donna will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Roy and Geraldine Stovall. Donna was one of fourteen siblings. Her siblings include Carolyn Sue Nuckolls, Carol Gean Hammons (Living), Edith Irene Bowers, Leroy Howard, Shine Carson (Living), Mutt Howard, Tom Stovall, Deanna Mersman, Laurie Hefflman, Jim Stovall, Georgeann Stovall, Trudy White, and Neasey Garwood (living).
She leaves behind a family that she loved so much, her husband, Kelsie Francis, children, Kelsie Francis II, Tommy Bringinggood Francis, and Isabell Irene Francis. Grandchildren include Luca Wooden, Sukie Wooden, Alaya Furnas, Tsehonsanoose, Payge Francis, and Zaiden Francis. Bonus Grandchildren include Estelle Long, Brixton Coombes, and Wade Wilson.
Donna's Wake will begin at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Seneca Cayuga Community Building until her Graveside Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Bassett Grove Cemetery. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Welch.
