Della Miller's Obituary
Della Marie (Owens) Miller, 81, of Miami, Oklahoma passed this life Thursday morning, January 4,2024 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Oklahoma after a brave battle with a stroke 7 years ago. Della was born October 4,1942 to Olin and Cherry Deniese (Screws) Owens in Gore, OK. Della attended Miami schools where she graduated in 1960. She married Ronnie Miller in Miami on October 9, 1961. They had 2 sons, Randy and Patrick, and also 2 grandsons, Randy, Jr. and Mykel. Della was a gift to all who knew her. She was a kind, compassionate and loving woman who loved God. She took care of her mother for 10 years and never thought of herself. Her Mom always came first. She and sister Patsy also took care of their younger brothers growing up and th.at was a tough job. She was a great sister and will definitely be missed. She has earned her wings. Throughout the years, Della was part of the Office Staff at the Miami Clinic and worked for Dr. Romeo Obsequio, Dr. Hutchens, and Dr. Grigsby and numerous other doctors.
Survivors include brothers Steve Owens of Norman, OK; Dale Owens of Miami, OK; Larry Owens and wife Debbee of Noble, OK; Tinker Owens and wife Terri of Norman, OK; and Jimbo Owens of Miami, OK. Sister Patsy Hoover and husband Don of New Haven, lN. Also, one son Randy Miller of Miami, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Miller, son Patrick Miller, parents, Olin & Cherry Owens, Brothers - Bill Owens and Paul Owens, Sisters-in Law, Barbara Owens, Jeannie Owens and carol Owens, and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 1:00PM until 2:00 PM at Mount Olive Lutheran Church.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Miller will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Miami with Reverend Dwight Moeller officiating. Interment will follow at the Glen-Abbey Memorial Garden East of Miami. Services have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
