Debra Sue Morris' Obituary
Debra (Debbie) Sue Morris, 64, a longtime Fairland resident passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 with her family surrounding her. Debbie was born in Grove, Oklahoma on March 28, 1958 to Jack and Alta (Colvard) Morris. She graduated with the Class of 1976 at Fairland High School. Debbie worked for thirty-seven years at the Fairland Nursing Center as a dietician. Debbie worked for most of those years alongside her mom, dad, sisters, and most of her family. Debbie had a love for her family and making sure everyone was taken care of, she had love for music, her favorite band was Alabama and she adored anything related to Cardinals. Her parents Jack and Alta Morris preceded her in passing along with her brothers Sammy Morris, and Jackie Morris Jr, and niece’s Karin Roach and Rusti Turner.
Survivors include her sisters Marsha Landon and her husband Robbie, Patricia "Pony" Rawlins and Mike Burke, Diane Morris, and Shawn Morris and his wife Jennifer, her nieces and nephews are Brandon Roach, Robbie Landon, Steven Landon, Rusty Landon and his wife Ashley, Dusty Morris, Spencer Morris, Ashley Pomorski, Corey Beaver, Brandi Turner and her husband Russell, Randee Mahurin and her husband Ryan, Brittany Rawlins, along with her great nieces and nephews; Dawson Roach, Taylor Roach, Devin Roach, Cohen Morris, Barrett Landon, Madison Landon, Wyatt Mahurin, Macon Mahurin, Dallys Mahurin and Jaxson Mahurin.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland.
Services are 2:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2023 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Fairland with Reverend Jackie Crafton officiating. Interment will follow at the Hickory Grove Cemetery in Grove.
