Debra Gooden's Obituary
Debra M. Gooden, 50, a resident of Galena, Kansas passed away at her home on Friday, July 20, 2012. She was born on October 4, 1961 in Baxter Springs, Kansas to Floyd and Maxine (Douglas) Burks. Mrs. Gooden married her husband Leo Gooden in Miami on May 14, 2001. She worked at the Joplin Rehab Center as a Certified Nurses Aid. Debra was preceded in death by her brother Richard Burks.
Survivors include her husband Leo Gooden of the home, her sons Justin Rago and his wife Brandy of Miami, Mike Rago of Columbus, Sean Rago and his wife Deseri of Miami and Ethan Gooden of Galena five grandchildren Tristan, Katlynn, Keaton, Jordan and Joeseph and one brother Randall Burks of Baxter.
Services for Mrs. Gooden will begin with a service at 12:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church in Baxter Springs, Kansas that will follow with the graveside service at Lowell Cemetery around 1:00 PM.
Honorary Casketbearers will be Doug Hall, Danny Hall, Jucca, Castilleija, Steven Wilson, Derrick Wilson and Amos Neal.
Services are under the direction of the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma.
