Deborah Joan (Neil) Nichols-Ledermann's Obituary
Former Welch, OK resident, Deborah Joan (Neil) Nichols-Ledermann, now of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away September 27, 2012 at St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO, after a sudden illness. She was 55 years old. Deborah was born September 29, 1956 in Oswego, Kansas to Merle and Nadine (Wilkins) Neil. She was a graduate of Welch High School. She attended Missouri Southern State College, receiving her Bachelors Degree. In 1995, she graduated from the University of Missouri of Kansas City, and received her Master's Degree, majoring in Pharmacology. She married David Ledermann on September 29, 2001. He survives. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Welch. She enjoyed researching Delaware Indian History as well as Antiques. Deborah was preceded in death by her parents; and 1 sister, Twyla Lathrop. She is also survived by 1 son, Christopher Nichols of Phoenix, AZ; 3 brothers, Merle Neil, Jr., and Robert and Patricia Neil, all of Welch, and Gregory Paul Neil; many other loving relatives; and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Thomas Funeral Home, Welch. Pastor Brad Canham will officiate. Interment at Walker Cemetery, Welch, OK.
