Deborah Suwane Bluejacket's Obituary
Deborah Suwane Bluejacket, of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday evening, February 15, 2018 at Eastwood Manor in Commerce after a long illness. She was 64 years old. Deborah was born July 24, 1953 in Miami to Billy Lee Bluejacket and Maudie Belle (Cravens) Bluejacket. She was a high school graduate. She then attended cosmetology school and became a licensed hairdresser. She took over her mother's beauty shop, a job she enjoyed for many years. She loved playing bingo and going to the area casino's. She is preceded in death by her parents, and one daughter, Sheila Maudine Rutledge. She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly McCann and husband David of Miami, Shelly Stafford and fiancé Johnny Brown, also of Miami; one son, Joshua Rutledge and wife Sara of Miami; two brothers, Bruce and Brad Bluejacket; five grandchildren, Dalton Lee, Carson McCann, Harper Rutledge, Madalie McCann, and Delanie McCann; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. The family will celebrate Deborah's life by greeting family and friends at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Welch on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest at a later date in the Bluejacket Cemetery.
