Darla D. Banzet's Obituary
Darla D. Banzet, 84, of Bernice, OK, passed away early Thursday morning, November the 7th, 2024, at Grand Lake Villa in Grove, OK, after a long illness.
She was born in Columbus, KS on November the 20th, 1939, to Lute and Leota (Fowler) Headly.
On June the 29th, 1957, she married the love of her life, Carl Banzet in a ceremony in Melrose, KS. For many years, she worked as a bookkeeper for tax firms and law offices. She loved tending to her flowers, travelling with her husband, and spending time on their land in Kansas. She had attended the Melrose Methodist church in her early years. She and her husband were faithful members on the Bernice Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Bart; and a brother, Harry Headly.
She is survived by her husband, Carl, of the home; two sons, Brian Banzet of Arma, KS, and Brett Banzet and wife Ann of Columbus, KS; two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
At this time, no services will be held.
