Cynthia K. Barton's Obituary
Cynthia K. Barton, 56-year-old Afton, Oklahoma resident passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 following a sudden illness. Cindy was born on May 4th, 1962 in Springfield, Missouri to Jim Blackwell and Shirley Mitchell. She was a homemaker and full-time mother. Cindy was also an avid reader and loved to crochet and knit, do crafts and fishing.
Cindy is preceded in death by her husband Rick Barton Sr. and a son Shannon Barton.
Cindy is survived by her significant other Lester Black, children, Lisa Hallbauer of Afton, Oklahoma, Rick Barton Jr. and wife Laci of Afton, Oklahoma, Brandy Trillo and husband Arturo of Houston, Texas, Shelly Murry and husband Anthony of Afton, Oklahoma, Danny Black of Afton, Oklahoma, Rance Black of Afton, Oklahoma, and Jodi Prater and husband Stephen of Yale, Oklahoma.
Cindy is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
Funeral services for Cindy will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 14, 2108 at the Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Afton, Oklahoma. Pastor Brian Gibson will officiate. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. A visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday August 13, 2018 at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Afton.
