Clint E. James' Obituary
Clint E. James, 36, of Katy, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas after an illness. He was born July 2, 1979 in Vinita, OK to Jesse James and Kay Ann (Walker) James. He graduated from high school in Pittsburg, KS. Clint joined the United States Army, serving for 10 years. He served 4 active tours in Iraq. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Texas. After serving in the military, he was tattoo artist. He loved to fish and hunt. He cherished spending time with his family that he loved so much. Clint is preceded in death by his loving mother, Kay Ann, and his maternal grandfather, Jesse Walker. He is survived by his two children, Kaydence James of Kentucky, and Eva James of Missouri; his father, Jesse James of Katy, TX; his sister, Tonia Kernodle of North Carolina; his maternal grandmother, Rosalea Cole of Welch; his paternal grandparents, Winford and Deloris James of Pittsburg, KS; his niece and nephew, Sandra-Anne and Robbie Kernodle; along with a host of friends. The family will greet friends at the Thomas Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 12:00 to 12:40 p.m. A procession will then proceed to the Welch Cemetery for the graveside service beginning at 1:00. Minister Brad Canham will officiate. Serving at casket bearers will be Wayne James, Jason Brant, Dusty Parks, Willie Johns, Shawn Waring, and Robbie Kernodle.
